Solarpark Tiste
The Tiste solar park is located near the former farmstead “Herwigshof.” Tiste is a neighboring municipality to our company located in Heidenau.
Project description
The Tiste Solar Park covers an area of around 54 hectares, previously used for agriculture, and is located directly south of an EVB railway line. A project-specific development plan with five designated zones was prepared, building permits were granted in August 2024, and the park was completed in July 2025.
At the stage of ready-to-build, the Danish energy company Nordic Solar A/S took over the project, acted as the EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) and will ensure the solar park’s future operation. With the solar park in Tiste, a sustainable energy project has been realized: The facility comprises 64,582 solar modules with a total installed capacity of approx. 46 MWp. Each year, it will generate enough renewable electricity to supply around 10,500 European households – a measurable contribution to the energy transition in the region.
