Solarpark Waschow
The Waschow solar park was our first project on agricultural land.
Project description
The solar plant, located on the Zieger family’s farmland near Wittenburg, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, about 75 km east of Hamburg, demonstrates how PV plants can diversify agricultural businesses.
By leasing their land for the project, the Zieger family established an additional income source alongside their farming operations and farm shop.
This project highlights the potential of renewable energy to support and enhance rural economies.
